Serena Williams marries Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian
Serena Williams has married her partner, the Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, in a ceremony full of her celebrity friends in New Orleans.
The couple announced their engagement in a Reddit post back in December. Since then, they have also welcomed their first child together, daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

The ceremony took place on Thursday November 16th in the Louisiana city in front of celebrity friends including Beyoncé and Jay Z, Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, fellow tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and, of course, Serena's tennis player sister Venus.
Williams' tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou shared a picture of the couple earlier in the day on Instagram, saying he wished Williams "a very happy wedding, a fantastic party and a life full of happiness".

Roads were closed outside the Contemporary Arts Museum in the city, reportedly in anticipation of the ceremony.
According to the Daily Mail, table settings had each been named after Williams' 12 Grand Slam titles and her favours were recreations of trophies she has won. The 250 guests were also reportedly told to dress to a theme of Beauty and the Beast.
Sources told the newspaper that Serena wore two dresses for the occasion and the music was provided by an authentic New Orleans funk and jazz band.
