Last night, Serena Williams made her red carpet comeback after welcoming her first child with fiancé Alexis Ohanian.

The couple introduced 2-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian to the world on Instagram back in September and haven’t been able to stop sharing adorable snaps ever since.

And last night, the tennis champion took a break from babysitting duties to attend Glamour‘s 2017 Women of the Year Awards in New York.

For the event, Williams chose a Versace mini dress embroidered with intricate gold flowers. She finished the look with a high ponytail and a co-ordinating metallic hair accessory.

At the ceremony, the tennis champion presented Gigi Hadid with the Supernova award and expressed her admiration for the model:

“Gigi, you are one of the few people on this planet I would leave my baby for (for one night) but for you, it shows how much you mean to me And I want you to imagine the affect you have on the world.”

If that’s not BFF goals then we don’t know what is.
