Serena Williams debuted her adorable baby bump at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday night, and she also took some time to talk to Vogue about the baby's impending arrival. One thing she won't be sharing any time soon? The baby's gender.

"We're waiting. [It's] a surprise," Williams told Vogue's André Leon Talley. "We call it 'baby.'"

Boy or girl, Williams and her fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, are super excited to be parents. "I'm really good," Ohanian said. Williams agreed and said the two "have time" to prepare for their baby, which is due in the fall.

Williams announced her pregnancy with a photo captioned "20 weeks" on Snapchat on April 19, but quickly deleted the post, leading many fans to believe she announced it by accident. She confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram five days later, with a bare bump photo and a sweet message:

In a TED Talk with Gayle King in Vancouver on April 26, Williams admitted that the Snapchat was indeed an accident. "I was on vacation just taking some time for myself and I have this thing where I've been checking my status and taking pictures every week to see how far along I'm going," Williams said. "I didn't tell a lot of people to be quite honest and I'd been saving it. On social media, you press the wrong button and… Thirty minutes later I missed four calls and I'm like, 'That's weird.' But it was a good moment."
