Senior dog in IOW needs loving home

WINDSOR, Va. (WAVY) – A senior dog in Windsor is looking for his forever home.

Esther Williams with the Rainbow Animal Rescue in Norfolk is asking for help in connecting 13-year-old Sullivan with a loving home.

Sullivan is currently at the Isle of Wight Animal Control in Windsor. He is heart worm positive and has disc issues that cause him to move slowly.

Animal Control Officers were told Sullivan’s owners got irritated because it took him so long to go outside, and that he spent most of his time in the basement.

Williams stated Sullivan would do best in a home with no other dogs.

Sullivan loves treats and curling up on a comfy bed.

If you are able to help, please contact Rainbow Animal Rescue at 757-472-1583 or Isle of Wight Animal Control at 757-365-6318.
