See who won Caller-Times Student of the Week

This week's Caller-Times Student of the Week winner is Nicholas Sessions of Flour Bluff High School.

Also nominated was Valyssa Noyola of Calallen High School.

Here's what Flour Bluff ISD shared about Sessions:

"Sessions, a Flour Bluff High School senior, has participated in the NJROTC program and competed at the national level with the unarmed drill team. In his spare time he creates animations for local businesses and is currently working towards his certification in Adobe Animate. He plans to attend Full Sail University in Florida post-graduation majoring in Game Business and E-Sports. "He possesses an extensive knowledge on the subject matter, making him a highly sought-after team member during our review sessions for examinations," says teacher Sally Weischwill."

The last Caller-Times Student of the Week was Gregory-Portland High School's Sami Gregory.

The nominations for next week's poll will be published online at caller.com on Monday morning. Voting will run from 5 a.m. Monday through noon Thursday.
