The Texas Rangers returned to Globe Life Field on Thursday to open their season against the 2024 Chicago Cubs.

Fans were treated with the sight of the Commissioner’s Trophy as well as the unfurling of the World Series Champions. banner before first pitch.

This season the Rangers will be defending their Wold Series title this season. On Nov. 1, 2023, the Rangers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks to end the franchise’s 62-year championship drought and win the World Series. They won their home opener in extra innings.
