You need to see this painstaking Lego recreation of a classic March Madness shot

Surely you remember the epic shot that won last year's March Madness college basketball tournament. 

But you've never seen it quite like this

One awesome dad just recreated Kris Jenkins' buzzer-beater for Villanova — using Legos and stop-motion animation. Better yet, he included a fascinating making-of video for the quirky project, as well as a heart-warming note to his hoops-loving daughter. 

But we'll get to those details in a second. 

First, behold the masterpiece by Jared Jacobs, which even includes North Carolina's would-be game-winner just before Jenkins' heroic moment. (Tip: Watch with your volume on.)
