See Oprah's Lavish Thanksgiving Spread — Including Four 22-Lb. Turkeys

Nobody does Thanksgiving quite like Oprah Winfrey.

The 63-year-old talk show host and Weight Watchers spokesperson hosted and epic Thanksgiving on Thursday, complete with four 22-lb. turkeys — two of which were smoked and all of which were marinated in cajun spices, chicken seasoning, and sage with roasted vegetables like celery and rutabaga.

“This is our Thanksgiving so we got to work the points however best we can,” she told fans on Instagram as she toured the lavish spread.

Not all of the turkeys were for the OWN network creator and her guests, though they did plan on going through the majority of them. “We have a lot of people and one of the turkeys is going to our neighbor so we’re not eating all of it,” Winfrey said.

Hope your day was as great as ours. Full house! #thanksgivingdoneright

In addition to the birds, Winfrey’s full menu consisted of some tasty-looking sides. While bread appeared to be notably missing, her offerings consisted of:

“All I got to say is, let the games begin,” Oprah gushed after going through each dish.

Let the Games begin! ???????? #happythanksgiving

Earlier in the day, Winfrey had taken her followers behind-the-scenes of her Thanksgiving prep as she worked with a team of chefs (including former Top Chef contestant chef Kenny Gilbert and chef Merrin Mae) to create the meal.

“The games have already began, we’re in the middle of the games,” Oprah joked.

Once the meal was complete, she took time to thank her team.

“These are the people who made it happen,” Oprah said. “We’re the team! Thanksgiving! Happy Thanksgiving everybody.”

Now that Thanksgiving is out of the way, Winfrey can focus on her favorite holiday: Christmas.

Earlier this month, she got into the holiday spirit by releasing her annual “Favorite Things” list. The much-anticipated gift guide, which appears in the December issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, is filled with over 100 items ranging from home décor to her favorite leggings and scrumptious edible gifts.
