HUDSON YARDS, Manhattan (PIX11) – A new proposal would bring a first-of-its-kind resort and casino to Hudson Yards in Manhattan.
Wynn Resorts on Wednesday released renderings for the new project. Developers behind the plan — dubbed “Hudson Yards West” — say it would create 35,000 union construction jobs and 5,000 permanent careers at the resort.

The resort would feature casino gaming facilities, a spa, a hotel, restaurants, and more than 5 acres of green space. The proposed project also includes constructing a residential building, day care center, and public school.
The company plans to release more details after it submits a full application to the state’s gaming commission.
