See it: Building façade collapses in North Bergen, 2 cars smashed by bricks

NORTH BERGEN, N.J. (PIX11) – A building façade collapsed in a New Jersey town early Thursday morning as a storm brought heavy rains and winds to the tri-state area.

Several cars were smashed by bricks, video showed.

Leonia Middle School closed as storm wreaks havoc on NJ roads

An overnight storm left downed trees and power lines across the tri-state area. Over 4,000 people are still without power as of 10 a.m. Thursday morning, according to PSE&G.
