Second teenager arrested in January Las Vegas homicide

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police arrested a second teenager suspected in a January northwest valley homicide.

On Jan. 2, at around 9:40 p.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive near Sahara Avenue.

Police said a man was shot and killed inside an apartment. A second shooting victim took himself to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Several people were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting, police said.

On Thursday, Feb 28, police arrested a second suspect. David Valle, 18, faces charges of open murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 4.

Earlier in the week on Tuesday, Feb. 27, police arrested Presyus Dennis, 18, on charges of open murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
