Second Chance 5k Race
Las Vegas(KLAS)-A race this weekend is all about giving those who need it, a second chance in life.
The Second Chance 5K started eight years ago after two families lost three sisters to drug overdoses. Since then, proceeds from the annual event have gone to local nonprofits dedicated to helping individuals and families who have been impacted by drug addiction.
The April 20th event at Givens Elementary School will include entertainment, food trucks and a festive atmosphere.
