SEC Baseball Tournament bracket: Full TV schedule, scores, results for 2024 championship

The SEC is power-packed with elite talent in baseball.

Five teams ― including SEC co-regular season champion Tennessee ― were ranked in the top 10 of the most recent USA Today Coaches poll. The conference also boasts the top four projected seeds of the NCAA Tournament, including five of the top eight, according to D1Baseball.

Before the conference can showcase its might on the national stage, there first comes the matter of determining which is its most superior team — by way of the SEC Tournament. The SEC's lead-up to the Road to the College World Series is set to be played at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama, and will give a glimpse into which teams are really elite ahead of the CWS.

Play starts Tuesday and runs through Sunday, the day of the championship game. The top four seeds — No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Arkansas, No. 3 Kentucky, and No. 4 Texas A&M — all earned first-round byes for the tournament and will begin play on Wednesday.

No. 6 Georgia and No. 11 LSU will start the tournament at 10:30 a.m. ET with the first of four single-elimination games scheduled for Tuesday. The tournament turns into a double-elimination bracket on Wednesday before reverting back to single elimination for Saturday's semifinals and Sunday's championship.

When is the 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament?

  • Dates: Tuesday, May 21 through Sunday, May 26

  • Location: Hoover Metropolitan Stadium (Hoover, Ala.)

The 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament will be held at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama from Tuesday, May 21 through Sunday, May 26. The first round is single elimination, but starting Wednesday the tournament is double elimination. Saturday's semifinal and Sunday's championship rounds are single-elimination.

Here's a full breakdown of the seeding positions for the 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament. Tennessee edged out Kentucky for the SEC East Division title and the No. 1 overall seed, while Arkansas earned the No. 2 seed for winning the SEC West (hence the Razorbacks having the No. 2 seed in the tournament over the Wildcats, despite having a worse conference record).
