Sears closing more stores, Dave & Buster's results fail to impress, Imax hit with downgrade

Here’s a look at some of the stocks the Yahoo Finance team will be watching for you today.

Sears (SHLD) is back in the headlines. The struggling retailer is closing 72 more stores. That’s on top of the 180 stores it already announced it will be closing. Sears is expected to close most of the stores by September.

Imax (IMAX) was lower this morning after Benchmark downgraded the stock to hold from buy. The firm cited disappointing movie traffic in the second quarter, especially big box office blockbusters that drive Imax’s revenue.

Investors are not impressed with Dave & Buster’s (PLAY) first-quarter results. The stock is lower in early trading. The arcade-themed restaurant chain reported a beat on both its top and bottom lines late yesterday. However, same-store sales did not increase as much as expected.

Sticking with earnings. Brown-Forman (BF.B) shares fell this morning. The company behind Jack Daniels and Tennessee Whiskey disappointed with a miss on earnings and revenue for last quarter as sales fell nearly 5% to $887 million from a year ago.
