Lake Elmo woman who was missing since Thursday night found safe, BCA says
A 71-year-old woman who went missing Thursday evening in Lake Elmo has been found safe, authorities said.
Sandra “Sandy” Brogren was located Friday afternoon, according to an alert by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. No additional details were provided.
Brogren, who has dementia, went missing around 5 p.m. Thursday after she left for her routine walk near her Lake Elmo home, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Friday morning in a news release, which asked for the public’s help in locating her.
Brogren’s family reported her missing when she failed to return.
