Sean Hannity Blasts His CBS Interview With Ted Koppel as ‘Fake Edited News’

Sean Hannity took to Twitter to fire back at a segment on “CBS Sunday Morning,” in which veteran TV journalist Ted Koppel told the Fox News host that he is “bad for America.” Hannity blasted the interview that ran as “fake ‘edited’ news.”

The Fox News host accused CBS of cutting out footage of him listing examples of media bias to back up his argument that “journalism is dead.”

As for what made the segment: Koppel analyzed the media’s role in the political divide in Trump-era America, with Hannity asking, “You’re cynical. … You think we’re bad for America? You think I’m bad for America?”

“Yep,” Koppel replied. “In the long haul, I think that all these opinion shows…”

“Really?” Hannity said. “That’s sad, Ted.”

Koppel explained: “You know why? Because you’re very good at what you did and because you have attracted … people who have determined that ideology is more important than facts.”

Hannity teased that on Monday’s episode of “Hannity,” he’ll respond to the situation.

“I should thank @CBSNews for providing me the opportunity to unmask ‘The Anatomy of Edited Fake News!’,” he tweeted. “Stay tuned.”
