Diddy home raid footage leaked by ex-girlfriend who slams federal agents for ‘terrorising’ their sons

Sean “Diddy” Combs ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton shared security footage of the raid on the rapper’s Los Angeles home as she slammed federal agents for “terrorising” their sons.

Ms Hylton is the mother of Diddy’s sons Justin Combs, 30, and his brother Christian “King” Combs, 26, who were both handcuffed by agents during the 25 March raid, carried out in connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation.

On 2 April, she took to Instagram to post video of the raid and blasted the “overzealous and overtly militarized force” used that day.

“[The force] used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable. If these were the sons of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been handled with the same aggression,” she wrote. “The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable!”

Diddy has also described the actions of agents as a “gross overuse of military-level force” and insisted he is innocent of any wrongdoing, as he faces a growing number of lawsuits including for sexual abuse.

This comes as a victim of the infamous 1999 Club New York shooting spoke out to reveal the extreme lengths she will go to prove Diddy was her attacker.

The Bad Boy Entertainment founder bought the eight-bedroom, 16-bathroom home – which was built in 1987 – for $2.6m (£2m) from HJ Newton in 2003, and has never spoken about why he left it empty for so many years.

Infamous 1999 shooting could be re-investigated as part of federal probe into Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Monday 1 April 2024 12:30 , Rachel Sharp

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ past is back in the spotlight as a sweeping federal sex trafficking probe into the rapper is set to widen after agents raided his mansions in connection to the investigation.

The infamous Club New York shooting from 1999 and the sensational 2001 trial could possibly be re-investigated as part of the probe, two law enforcement officials told The New York Post.

In an explosive lawsuit from February that alleges Combs sexually assaulted music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones and forced him to have sex with sex workers, Mr Jones claimed Diddy was often “bragging about bribing witnesses, and jurors in the criminal case concerning the 1999 NYC nightclub shooting with Shyne”.

Diddy, his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, his bodyguard, Anthony “Wolf” Jones, and rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, were arrested after the club shooting that injured three people.

Who is named in Diddy lawsuits?

Monday 1 April 2024 13:30 , Rachel Sharp

Last month, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones published a bombshell lawsuit accusing rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and his associates of sexual assault.

The producer, who worked for Combs between September 2022 and November 2023, named several notable people in his lawsuit, including fellow musicians, British royalty and members of Diddy’s staff. In response, Diddy’s lawyer has claimed Mr Jones’ lawsuit engages “reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not” occur.

The lawsuit re-emerged in headlines this week after federal agents raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles, California and Miami, Florida.

A statement from Homeland Security said law enforcement actions had been “executed as part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners.” Meanwhile, Diddy’s lawyer Aaron Dyers called the raids “a gross overuse of military-level force.”

While Diddy is also facing several other lawsuits, Mr Jones’ filing is the most recent and most expansive legal attack on the rapper yet.

Here are the most notable people named in Mr Jones’ scathing lawsuit:

Mr Jones also said the chief of staff “is the Ghislaine Maxwell to Sean Combs Jeffrey Epstein,” referring to the former British socialite currently being held in prison for twenty years after being convicted of child sex trafficking and other related charges.

The Independent has contacted Ms Khorram for comment.

Actress-Model Daphne Joy and Rapper Yung Miami named in lawsuit against Diddy

Monday 1 April 2024 15:00 , Katie Hawkinson

Last month, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones published a bombshell lawsuit accusing rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and his associates of sexual assault.

The producer, who worked for Combs between September 2022 and November 2023, named several notable people in his lawsuit, including fellow musicians, British royalty and members of Diddy’s staff. In response, Diddy’s lawyer has claimed Mr Jones’ lawsuit engages “reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not” occur.

Daphne Joy and Yung Miami are named as alleged “sex workers” that Mr Jones says Diddy paid a “monthly fee” and forced him to solicit.

In an Instagram statement, Ms Joy called Mr Jones’ claims “100% false” and accused him of “character assassination.” Meanwhile, Yung Miami seemed to deny the claims as well, responding to a post on X implying she would do anything “for $250k.”

“Something the internet made up and yall ran with it,” the rapper said on X.

Ms Joy dated Curtis Jackson III, also known as 50 Cent, from 2011 to 2012. The actress and model also had a child with the rapper.

“I didn’t know you was a sex worker, [eye emojis] you little sex worker. LOL Yo this s*** is a movie,” 50 Cent wrote on social media after Mr Jones filed the lawsuit. He did not address Ms Joy directly in his statement.

Mr Jones also alleges that Yung Miami’s “cousin, and or assistant,” sexually assaulted him on Thanksgiving Day in 2022.

Music industry giants named in recent lawsuit against Diddy

Monday 1 April 2024 16:30 , Katie Hawkinson

Rodney Jones named both Universal Music Group (UMG) CEO Lucian Graine and Ethiopia Habtemariam, former CEO of Motown Records — owned by UMG — in his February lawsuit against Diddy.

Mr Graine and Ms Habtemariam, along with their music labels and others, “are 100% liable for the actions of Sean Combs,” Mr Jones claimed in his lawsuit. The producer said Diddy would threaten him with isolation from the music industry, using his connections with these CEOs as leverage.

The lawsuit states Diddy and his associates used “threats of isolation from the music and entertainment industry: parading powerful music industry executives such as Defendants Lucian Charles Grainge, Ethiopia Habtemariam at his parties filled with sex workers, minors, and illegal drugs, such as ecstasy, cocaine, GHB, ketamine, marijuana, and mushrooms.”

Earlier this week, Ms Habtemariam said she would be willing to testify about the contact Mr Jones signed to produce Diddy’s “The Love Album.” Meanwhile, Mr Grainge’s lawyers have filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit.

“A license to practice law is a privilege,” Donald Zakarin, the attorney who represents UMG and Grainge, wrote per Billboard. “Mr. Blackburn, plaintiff’s lawyer, has misused that license to self-promote, gratuitously, falsely and recklessly accusing the UMG defendants of criminal behavior.”

Universal Music Group fires back at producer’s Diddy sexual assault lawsuit

Tuesday 2 April 2024 12:41 , Rachel Sharp

Lawyers acting for record label giant Universal Music Group are pushing for their clients to be dismissed from the case brought by producer Rodney Jones, who has accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual abuse.

The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in New York in February, and accuses the music mogul of repeated instances of unsolicited groping and sexual touching. It also claims that Jones was made to work in a bathroom while Diddy showered and walked around naked, and that he was forced to sleep with sex workers.

Diddy’s lawyer branded the events described in the suit as “pure fiction” and said his team had “overwhelming, indisputable proof” that Jones’s claims “are complete lies”.

Donald Zakarin, representing UMG Recordings and its Motown Records division, is now asking the court to have the allegations against the label and former executives, including UMG’s CEO Lucian Grainge, dismissed.

Among other things, the music producer accused Ms Khorram of requiring all of Diddy’s employees to carry drugs around his home, including cocaine, GHB, ecstasy and marijuana. He also claimed Ms Khorram “ordered sex workers, and prostitutes” for her boss.

Tuesday 2 April 2024 16:00 , Katie Hawkinson

Universal Music Group fires back at producer’s Diddy sexual assault lawsuit

Tuesday 2 April 2024 16:47 , Katie Hawkinson

Music label named in lawsuit fires back

Lawyers acting for record label giant Universal Music Group are pushing for their clients to be dismissed from the case brought by producer Rodney Jones, who has accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual abuse.

The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in New York in February, and accuses the music mogul of repeated instances of unsolicited groping and sexual touching. It also claims that Jones was made to work in a bathroom while Diddy showered and walked around naked, and that he was forced to sleep with sex workers.

Donald Zakarin, representing UMG Recordings and its Motown Records division, is now asking the court to have the allegations against the label and former executives, including UMG’s CEO Lucian Grainge, dismissed.

In a letter to the judge seen by Fox News, he called Jones’s inclusion of UMG in the lawsuit an attempt “to fit a square peg in a round hole” as he distanced Diddy, whose homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security last week, from the label.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s lawyer branded the events described in the suit as “pure fiction” and said his team had “overwhelming, indisputable proof” that Jones’s claims “are complete lies”.

Here are all the allegations made against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

16:00 , Katie Hawkinson

Sean “Diddy” Combs, a rapper and music mogul credited with helping launch the careers of some of the biggest stars in recent years, is now facing multiple civil lawsuits accusing him of sex trafficking, sexual abuse and rape.

Diddy has undergone a myriad of reinventions since the start of his career – but has since entered a new and unwelcome “era.”

Federal agents with US Homeland Security raided two of the rapper’s houses in Los Angeles and Miami on 25 March as he faces a string of varying accusations.

Diddy, 54, has strongly denied all of the allegations against him. His attorneys have branded the lawsuits and their accusations as money grabs, “baseless” or “sickening.”

The entertainer has not been formally charged or accused by federal prosecutors of any crime.

The new lawsuits come months after Diddy’s former partner, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed a lawsuit against him in November. She accused him of raping her in 2018, beating her, demanding she carry a firearm to “make her uncomfortable and demonstrate how dangerous he is” and forcing her into “unwanted sexual encounters with male sex workers.”

Ms Ventura’s lawsuit against Diddy was settled a day after she filed it for an undisclosed amount of money.

The slew of allegations in lawsuits against Diddy date as far back as the 1990s, when he founded his own record label, Bad Boy Records.

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend posts footage of LA home raid as she blasts agents use of ‘excessive’ force on her sons

Federal agents who raided multiple homes belonging to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs used “excessive” force against the rapper’s sons, according to a former partner, who shared alleged security video footage of the encounters.

On Tuesday, Mr Combs’s ex-partner Misa Hylton shared edited video on social media of Homeland Security agents raiding one of Mr Combs’s properties, part of a wider operation that targeted the musician’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

In the footage, Ms Hylton and Mr Combs’ son Justin, 30, is seen being handcuffed by federal agents, as is Christian Combs, Justin’s half-brother by a different mother, the late model and singer Kim Porter.

“The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable!” Ms Hylton, a fashion designer and life coach, wrote in a caption on Instagram accompanying the video. “Enough is Enough! Did Justin need several laser beams from firearms pointed at his chest?? Did Christian need a gun pointed at the back of his head while he was handcuffed??”

“How many times have we seen young UNARMED BLACK MEN not make it out of these types of situations alive??” she added.

Why is Rodney Jones suing Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs?

19:00 , Katie Hawkinson

In the most recent lawsuit against Diddy, filed on 26 February 2024 in New York, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones alleged he was “subjected to unwanted advances by associates of Diddy at his direction” and that he was forced to engage in relations with the sex workers Combs had hired.

The producer, who worked for Combs between September 2022 and November 2023 claimed Combs sexually harassed, drugged and threatened him for more than a year.

He said he has video and audio evidence of Combs, his staff and others “engaging in serious illegal activity.” The lawsuit identified Rapper 50 Cent‘s former girlfriend and the mother of one of his children, Daphne Joy, as one of the alleged sex workers.

The lawsuit also alleges that Combs regularly hosted “sex-trafficking parties” with underage women and illegal drugs, and implies record label executives who looked the other way financially benefited from access to celebrities and dignitaries, including the British royal Prince Harry.

Prince Harry is not accused of any wrongdoing or of attending parties himself.

Diddy’s attorney told The Los Angeles Times that the lawsuit contains “reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not” occur.
