Seahawks' Bobby Wagner tweets at teammate Earl Thomas 'keep my name out yo mouth'
The Seattle Seahawks really don’t do losing very well.
Just a week after the ugly end to their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which included blowing up the Jaguars’ victory formation and sparring with out-of-line fans who had thrown drinks at them, the Seahawks were at it again on Sunday.
But this time, they might be fighting with themselves.
Which is more than they did in their 42-7 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Speaking with reporters in the postgame locker room, Seattle safety Earl Thomas said All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner, who played despite a hamstring injury, shouldn’t have taken the field, and that the team’s backups could have done just as well as Wagner:

In watching the video, it’s tough to tell whether Thomas is aiming his frustration at Wagner or perhaps the Seattle coaching staff for keeping Wagner in even though he was hampered; the clip begins with Thomas saying he tips his cap to Wagner for playing, but then says that in his opinion, Wagner and other Seahawks players who played through injury shouldn’t have.
But Wagner, at least initially, saw Thomas’ words as a dig at him. He tweeted from his verified account, “E keep my name out yo mouth. Stop being jealous of other people success. I still hope you keep balling bro.”
But he deleted the tweet a short time after posting it.
The Seahawks have lost two straight, falling to 8-6. They are currently a half-game out of the second NFC wild-card spot, behind 8-5 Atlanta, which plays on Monday night.
