SDSU Aztecs football: 2024 schedule released

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Already thinking about the college football season? San Diego State football released its 2024 schedule on Thursday.

Following a disappointing 4-8 record last season in the Mountain West Conference, the Aztecs this year are led by ex-Colorado offensive coordinator Sean Lewis after Brady Hoke’s retirement.

Lewis’ first game as SDSU’s new head coach will be on Aug. 31 at Snapdragon Stadium against Texas A&M-Commerce. Six of their 12 games are home games.

The Aztecs will play against seven FBS opponents who made a bowl game a year ago including the Oregon State Beavers, California Golden Bears, Wyoming Cowboys, Boise State Broncos, New Mexico Bulldogs, UNLV Rebels and Utah State Aggies.

See the full schedule on the Aztecs’ website.

Game times and television arrangements, including moves to non-Saturdays, will be released at a later date, the university said.
