Scranton eatery featured by America's Best Restaurants

Jul. 20—Northeast Pennsylvania residents might see a familiar spot highlighted by America's Best Restaurants.

Andy Gavin's Pub and Eatery, 1392 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, posted to its Facebook page on Wednesday that the America's Best Restaurants road show was filming a segment inside the corner bar.

America's Best Restaurants is a national media company focused on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants, according to its Facebook page. It features these destinations on its website and social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.

"We had a blast showing the America's Best Restaurants crew around, and letting them see firsthand just how great Andy Gavin's is!" the restaurant posted to its Facebook page. "We can't wait to share the episode once it is completed!"
