Sanders plan will save over $1.4T per year in actual cost and insure everyone but requires an end to the corrupt system America has in place. America's corrupt healthcare was created by Congress and has been exploited financially by them at the expense of all taxpayers.
Bidens plan continues to enable the corrupt system that has 70 million under insured and at least 30 million without and does nothing to end the geometric progression of costs.
Trump has no plan but what we have seen so far which is to end pre-existing conditions requirement (150M have at least 1) and reduce Medicaid spending with cuts.
Every moron that writes an article and pegs that $32T price tag for M4A omits reality. The current system will cost over $40T and will continue to insure fewer and fewer each year. It will continue to bankrupt 500,000 families each and every year.
Every other nation has provided some form of universal care and yet here we are the richest nation in human history paying the highest financial and personal costs for healthcare and rank 37th in life expectancy.
Recently the Federal Reserve Chair has lamented, in the context of debt & deficits, to Congress that America spends 6-7% of GDP more for healthcare than other nations for no discernible improvement in care. Healthcare costs are a train wreck on the economy that M4A can address in a meaningful way. That 6-7% is equal to $1.4T and represents about 1/3rd of healthcare costs nationally. 70 million Americans are scraping by to pay for healthcare and another 30 million rely on the ER, so that a couple million can receive payment for providing nothing. You prefer spending $1.4T more per year for healthcare to the existing system for absolutely nothing? That equates to more than $4,200 per person each and every year.
America has the highest healthcare cost per person on the planet and yet does not cover everyone. Even when you have "health insurance" absolutely no one has your back for the out of network surcharges that can come when you need care.
We are being price gouged and this pervades everything related to healthcare. It is enabled by a corrupt Congress and an egregiously corrupt corporate welfare system.
Jobs that have gone to other countries are those that require manufacturing. All service jobs need to be done in America, Therefore, these jobs, both part time and full time, need to have full family health care coverage provided by the employers. This means those working for Walmart, Mac Donald's, Super markets, hardware stores, department stores, those that work on commission, contract workers, farm help, etc. will receive free health care provided by the employers. These type of companies that use many of this type of workers currently do not provide health care benefits. Some of those working for these companies require help using Medicaid provided by the state. This change will not require an increase in taxes. Another method can be used by having all Federal, state, and local government workers have this plan. This will require all Congress people and military personnel. Of coarse both public and private companies can buy into this plan.
But Trump promised America a "wonderful" new healthcare program. Oh, yeah, that was three years ago and just like Trump's promises, it's not true.
After promising healthcare to all as he campaigned in 2015 and on, Tramp has yet to provide even a clue to what TrampCare would look like -or cost. After failing to resolve insurance issues earlier, Tramp exclaimed, "who would've thought insurance could be so complex?" Clearly, Tramp is over his head in regards to any health-related functions. Moreover, he's been unable to surround himself with any experts who can come up with a healthcare plan. Let's send Tramp back to his beloved hotel industry in November. Please vote a full democratic ticket in November...
ACA plans are just as expensive as employer sponsored plans....unless you get a subsidy from unca sugah
I'm still waiting for the GOP health care plan or even the Trump health care plan but still not a single word. They are clear about removing ACA but vague on the plan to replace it.
Stop calling it private insurance . Its corporate insurance. Insurance will always be expensive but get the giant profits out of it.
"health insurance from the government that's paid for by higher taxes"
The democrats and the media always forget to tell you this when they pitch their health care for all plan.
Obama did nothing for you. I can order everyone to buy worthless health care that only benefits insurance companies too! Big deal what an accomplishment and legacy the dictator President who by executive order made every American purchase worthless health care insurance or be fined.
It was cheaper for my son to pay the fine, because while Obama was bragging about Obamacare and the jobs it created, he forgot to mention as well as the DNC controlled media that was accomplished by taking my Sons full time job and turning it into 2 part time jobs so the company could a void having covering him with insurance. The exchange was 320 a month with a 2,500 deductible on doctor visits and 5,000 on hospitalization. Prescription was a great benefit 10% off wow get down Obama you are the man.
Went to office poor and now is rich, hum where did he get that money?
People are so lost listening to the media trolls. Lol
Obama was no business and got duked by everyone. Banks, insurance companies, the airlines shall I go on. Trump almost made the same mistake right now, but the Dems did one thing right tell for accountability.
Unfortunately they did a bad deed and now Trump wants to use COVID19 to foster his infrastructure idea.
Pelosi showed him how to do, by sneaking her BS in this stimulus package bill. Aid for who Pelosi? And where is it going and to whom specifically? Hum sounds like a hypocrite again.
Well Trump won’t sacrifice us for his agenda at least, like Pelosi was willing to do to us to get her aid for what country? What international group? Rrrrrr
Shame on her and all of the DNC, just not Americans are you?
They can thank the democrats for losing their jobs and their economic plight. This is the fault of the DNC press stirring FEAR. We are headed for democrat induced depression. Enjoy, and remember in November.
Need more Rubios
I find it interesting that the Dems continue to campaign on the utter failure of the signature healthcare law of the last Dem President.
Obama care was about a bunch of millionaires in DC deciding what was affordable for the rest of us. Notice how not one US politician or Supreme Court or any other govt. employee opted for the Obama-care plan. What a farce it is
