Scientist offers simple explanation for Bermuda Triangle disappearances

The Bermuda Triangle has long been viewed as a place in which pilots and ships go missing under mysterious, even suspicious, circumstances. An Australian scientist has recently come out to say that there is nothing mysterious about these planes going missing after all. Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki told news.com.au that the number of planes that have gone missing in the Bermuda Triangle is the same as anywhere in the world on a percentage basis. The Bermuda Triangle is one of the most heavily traveled shipping areas in the world, with vessels heading to America, Europe and the Caribbean. Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki believes that human error is responsible for people going missing in the Bermuda Triangle and doesn't subscribe to theories that aliens or other unfounded theories are involved in the disappearances.
