Science Hill’s JROTC hosts first annual John Rosselot Memorial drill competition

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Science Hill High School hosted a JROTC drill competition on Saturday.

The first annual Sergeant First Class John Rosselot Memorial Drill Competition is in honor of a former Science Hill JROTC instructor. News Channel 11 spoke with Senior Officer Bradley Davis.

“As a student, I think it is a very high honor to be a part of it and help host it; especially since we are honoring a former teacher who taught here at Science Hill and made a big impact on those cadets that were here at the time.”

6th annual Johnson City Jazz Festival kicks off, weekend lineup announced

The competition was between other high schools in the area. The teams competed in various categories and were judged by military judges.
