SCDOT to host public meeting in Florence County to discuss intersection improvements

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting to discuss proposed intersection improvements at east National Cemetery Road and Paper Mill Road.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation made the announcement in a news release.

The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. February 8th at the Francis Marion University Ervin Dining Hall in the Palmetto Room located at 4822 E Palmetto Street, the release said.

SCDOT representatives will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposed project with members of the community, the release said.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation said they are aiming to improve the safety and efficiency of the intersection by realigning the intersection along with other additional safety enhancements.
