Some scattered showers continue through Monday

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good evening and happy Sunday Funday! As we close out the weekend and head into a new week, we are tracking a few scattered showers this evening, with more on the way for Monday. The middle of next week looks relatively dry, but we are tracking more potential wet weather with a cold front on the way this Thursday.

As for tonight and Monday, we are expecting a few scattered showers this evening, but we will dry out as we go through the overnight hours and into early Monday. Monday will bring more clouds along with slightly cooler temperatures during the morning and into the afternoon before more scattered showers and storms flare up across the Carolinas. High temperatures on Monday should be in the upper 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday of next week look mostly dry and warmer for the region, but a pop-up afternoon shower or storm is still possible. On Thursday, we are tracking our next cold front, which will bring some scattered showers and storms during the afternoon, followed by cooler temperatures for Friday and heading into next weekend.

In the meantime, make sure to have an umbrella as you head out the door on Monday! Have a great week!
