Reporters asked Scaramucci on Tuesday how he was going to handle White House leaks on Tuesday, to which the former Wall Street financier responded, saying, "I'm gonna fire everybody, that's how I'm gonna do it." The statement from Scaramucci comes as POLITICO reports the new Trump administration official is planning to fire assistant press secretary Michael Short. RELATED: A look at Anthony Scaramucci Scaramucci also added in addressing reporters that he had "1,000 percent" authority from President Trump to move forward with such firings. When asked about the move, Short said he had "not been informed" of any such decision -- leading many to believe Scaramucci is moving forward with an internal restructuring without first consulting employees. "I'm committed to taking the comms shop down to Sarah [Huckabee Sanders] and me, if I can't get the leaks to stop," Scaramucci told POLITICO.
