ScanSource says quarterly revenue may exceed market expectations

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- ScanSource Inc. said Tuesday that its quarterly revenue may come in ahead of market expectations.

The technology products company expects sales of $740 million to $750 million for the period ended Dec. 31. That is down from $783 million last year but above the $743.7 million that analysts polled by FactSet forecast.

ScanSource will provide full quarterly financial results on Jan. 24.

ScanSource shares fell 37 cents to $33.04 in midday trading amid a broader market decline. The stock has traded between $26.41 and $39.74 in the past 52 weeks.
