'Scandal' Star Embarrassingly Fails After Talking Trash on 'Battle of the Network Stars'

It was Lawyers Vs. White House on Battle of the Network Stars, and Scandal star, Cornelius Smith, Jr., was feeling pretty cocky. During the relay race, the White House team had a very large lead when Cornelius got the baton, and he spent some time stretching and doing push-ups before running the final leg of the race. Cornelius was also talking a pretty big game when it came to basketball, comparing himself to Kobe Bryant and Steph Curry. Although, when he hit the court, Cornelius looked more like Kobe and Steph if they were blindfolded. After missing a few shots, former LA Law star, Corbin Bernsen, gave Cornelius a tip. Corbin said, "Just so we're clear, that ball has to go in that basket." While the 62-year-old LA Law star was able to make five of his shots, Cornelius went an embarrassing 0-for-25. Things didn't get any better for Cornelius at the dunk tank, where he was tasked with knocking Corbin into the pool. After he missed the first throw, Corbin had some more "help" for the Scandal star. Corbin pulled out a basketball and asked Cornelius if he wanted to use that instead of the softballs. Cornelius laughed it off, but he should've taken Corbin up on the offer since he missed all three attempts. After Cornelius failed at both events, announcer Mike Greenberg said, "They've been calling him "O-for Winfrey" on this pool deck, and I think that's only gonna get worse."
