Save Up To 50 Percent On VR Games As Google Celebrates Fifth Anniversary Of Play Store

Google is reportedly planning on craacking down on "zombie apps" and knock-offs that appear in the Google Play Store.

Google's Play Store opened five years ago and to celebrate, the search giant is passing along some savings to you.

Via 9to5Google, Google is offering discounts of up to 50 percent on VR games Gunjack 2 (down to $6.49 from $12.99), the strategy bomb-defusing game Keep Talking & Nobody Explodes (down to $4.99 from $9.99) and Need For Speed: No Limits VR (down to $7.99 from $14.99). Google also highlighted info on sales and top apps during the past five years. The list of most popular apps is a mix of the expected (Candy Crush Saga) and slightly less expected. Check out the full list of games and content below:
