Saturday Night Live: Bryan Cranston Revives Breaking Bad's Walter White

Walter White is alive and well… on Saturday Night Live.

Bryan Cranston reprised his role as the iconic Breaking Bad kingpin in this weekend’s cold open, during which CNN’s Jake Tapper (Beck Bennett) announced that the former high school chemistry teacher had been selected to run the Drug Enforcement Administration under President-elect Donald Trump.

“It’s time to make America cook again,” White declared. “We want to fill this nation with red, white and a whole lotta blue.”

As White explained, he was handpicked for the position by Steve Bannon, who found him while he was commenting on Breitbart.com. Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon) remarked that top companies had been knocking on his door for years but he never answered, queuing Cranston up to recite White’s most famous line, “I’m the one who knocks.”
