Sasha Obama Scores Summer Job at Martha’s Vineyard

Sasha Obama will get a taste for food service this summer with a brief gig at a Martha’s Vineyard restaurant.

The second daughter of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, 15-year-old Sasha is working a summer job at the takeout window of Nancy’s, a seafood restaurant. Nancy’s is a favorite establishment of the Obamas, who stop to eat every year on their annual Martha’s Vineyard vacation, according to the Boston Herald.

Sasha, who goes by her full name Natasha at the restaurant, has been learning the tricks of the trade over the past week by busing tables and working the cash register, among other duties. A restaurant employee told the Herald she was accompanied by six Secret Service agents, who sat outside the restaurant while Sasha worked.

Her stint at Nancy’s ends this Saturday, when the First Family arrives for their two-week Vineyard vacation, the Herald reports.
