Sarajevo Fest CineLink Co-Prod Mart Announces New Selected Projects

The Sarajevo Film Festival has announced nine projects selected for its CineLink Co-Production Market, which is the prime financing platform in the Balkans but also supports works from Eastern Europe, Greece, and Turkey.

The nine titles are a second batch of selected projects, all in advanced stages. They mix known names and newcomers.

The CineLink Industry Days, which will run Aug 18-20, provide total of than 100.000 Euros ($113,000) in cash and services with awards from European co-production entity Eurimages, Franco/German TV Arte, the Macedonian Film Agency and Berlin-based VFX Studios The Post Republic, among others.

Additional projects will be announced in coming weeks. The 22nd edition of Sarajevo will run August 12-20.

Past CineLink participant projects include this year’s foreign Oscar-winner “Son of Saul,” (pictured) by Hungarian Director Laszlo Nemes.
