'Sarabjit' trailer: 23-yr-long journey of a sister to free her brother

Finally.after much wait and anticipation, the trailer of Omung Kumar directorial ‘Sarabjit’ is out!

The 2.51-minute video shows the 23-year-long struggle of a sister, Dalbir Kaur, to save her brother, Sarabjit, which finally “unites a nation.” It speaks about “the impossible journey of a sister.through adversity.hardship.sacrifice” to get her brother free.

The film sees Randeep Hooda in the title-role with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Dalbir Kaur and Richa Chadda as Sarabjit’s wife doing justice to the characters they portray.

The trailer has been launched today in Mumbai in the presence of the cast and crew of the movie. The 42-year-old actress looked amazing in a pink dress, whereas the 39-year-old actor was seen in a brown jacket.

Film critic Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to appreciate the trailer, saying, “Watched the brilliant trailer of #Sarbjit. Leaves you stunned, speechless and amazed. Undoubtedly, a hugely impactful trailer….”

The film that speaks of an Indian national convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court, is all set to hit the theatres on May 20 this year. (ANI)
