Santa Rosa Kmart Destroyed by Wildfire

The death toll from wildfires in California rose to 23 by Wednesday evening, October 11, as new evacuation orders were issued, the Santa Rosa Press Democrat reported.

The National Weather Service issued a red flag warning forecasting dangerous fire conditions in the Bay Area, as strong winds combined with dry fuels and low humidity were expected to help the fire to spread.

New evacuation orders and advisories were issued for thousands of residents in Sonoma and Napa counties.
