Santa arrives at SouthPark

Before many have finished planning their Thanksgiving meal, SouthPark Mall is set to welcome the main attraction of the holiday season this week. On Friday, Santa will land his sleigh at the mall, officially kicking off SouthPark’s holiday festivities.

The “Santa Photo Experience” will be open daily Nov. 11 through Dec. 24. Reservations are recommended but not required. (Note: People with reservations can skip the line and take photos with Santa at a preplanned time.) Click here for more information and to make reservations.

Other events scheduled include:

Nov. 19: Breakfast with Santa — This event is free, but reservations are required and can be made here.

Dec. 4: Caring Santa — A private photo experience in partnership with Autism Speaks designed for children and young adults in need of a more sensory-friendly holiday environment. Reservations are required and can be made here.

Dec. 11: Pet Photos with Santa — In partnership with CMPD Animal Care and Control, shoppers can bring their pets to take pictures with Santa and owners can create their own ID tags.

Nov. 18 – Dec. 5: The Salvation Army Angel Tree — Donors can pick an angel from the tree near the dining pavilion to purchase items for local children in need.

Santa will arrive at Concord Mills and Carolina Place on Nov. 18, and Northlake Mall on Nov. 25.
