Sanitation pickup curbed Monday

May 21—VALDOSTA — In observance of Memorial Day, Valdosta's sanitation service will be curtailed Monday.

The Valdosta Pubic Works Sanitation Division will only collect garbage (green roll-out cans) that day, a statement from the city said. Bulk items and yard trash will not be collected.

Regular bulk and yard services will resume Tuesday, the statement said.
