Desperately needing a win on Sunday, especially against a divisional rival, the San Diego Chargers fell short again. Haunted by turnovers and a botched field goal attempt, head coach Mike McCoy and company continue inventing ways to lose close games in 2016.

All divisional games take place this week as the Chargers and Broncos kickoff a pivotal Week Six on Thursday in San Diego.

Both San Diego and Kansas City have an opportunity to bring the division closer together this week. The Chargers and Broncos face a short week meeting in a nationally televised game on Thursday night, but coming off their first loss of the season expect Denver to be ready.
