Samsung reportedly has a waterproof, dust-resistant Galaxy S5 and Note 3 in the works

Earlier this year, Samsung released its outdoor-friendly Galaxy S4 Active for the adventurous smartphone owners who want to avoid replacing their devices several times a year. Korean-based Electronic Times reports that Samsung is revisiting its Active brand for the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 as well. The reaction to the waterproof phones has apparently been positive enough to warrant a whole line of phones that can weather the environment. The report does not include any pricing or release date information for either phone, but new materials might be adopted for the phone’s construction in order to make it even more durable than the S4 Active.
