Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli are officially married, and we couldn’t be happier for them!
Orange Is The New Black colleagues Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli got married over the weekend! And according to People, via Martha Stewart Weddings, it was a ceremony of the lifetime. To start, the brides were wed by Wiley’s parents before a slew of family and friends. But, the best part, you ask? The newlyweds paid homage to their love for Funfetti cake with a total confetti-themed event!
But, it gets better. The couple’s love story is straight out of a romantic dramedy. Morelli, who was married one time prior, realized she was gay while writing the first season of OITNB. Wiley served as the writer and producer’s comfort through that very hard time, and the couple fell in love on set. And after two years of dating, an engagement followed.
The pair married in Palm Springs, California on March 25, and we’re so happy for them!

Wedding photographer Jose Villa did a fantastic job capturing this loving moment of the couple! And OMG, it’s so picturesque.
We’re dying for more photos of the wedding to come out. But, until then, we’ll just continue to bask in the fact that another love story has had a fairytale ending.
