We asked Samantha if she’d always dreamed of designing children’s clothes or if it was the birth of her daughter that inspired her to create Dear Valentine. She tells HelloGiggles,
“I have always brought a childlike imagination to my designs for women so it was always in the back of my mind that I would one day translate some of my favorites into kid’s clothes. After having Valentine and really diving into the children’s clothes market, I realized there was really an opportunity to do a complete brand that embraces the imagination, wonder, and creativity of childhood.”
One of the things we love most about the Dear Valentine collection is that there are so many pieces that match the women’s line. Is there anything cuter than matching mother-daughter outfits? Our hearts, they are are breaking.
We asked Samantha if she had a personal favorite to wear when matching with Valentine and she says,
“I can’t wait to match her in our Illuminated Turtle Bodysuits. We made them go from Newborn up to 6 years so now everyone can match with their little-loved ones.”
