Full Frontal host Samantha Bee dropped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert where she revealed an interesting parenting technique she's developed. She said, "[My kids] don't want chocolate, they don't want anything like that. They don't care for cakes and other things normal children like but they do like to swear."
Bee has three children, ages 3, 6, and 11. Since children nowadays are inundated with so media, Bee says curse words are something that they are not only familiar with but enjoy saying.
So Bee harnessed that appreciation for salty words saying, "I can get them do anything just by letting them use one piece of salty language in a conversation."
She said instead of using the usual things like candy, toys, or tv to bargain with her kids, she uses cursing. She gave an example of allowing them to say one curse word if they did a good job cleaning their rooms. But she does require that they use the words correctly in proper sentences.
Before cutting to a commercial break, Stephen Colbert was able to get Bee to share one of the recent swearing session. Bee said the kids got real excited and one of them shouted, "B**ch, you cooked a f**king sh**ty dinner!"
