Salvation Army of Greenville receives $5,000 grant

May 3—The Salvation Army of Greenville announced on Friday that it has been awarded a grant of $5,000 from the F.L. Young Foundation. The grant will enable the organization to continue its vital work in serving the community and providing essential support to those in need.

Service Center manager Paul Juarez gratefully accepted the grant check from Roz Lane, a board member of the foundation.

"We are extremely grateful to the F.L. Young Foundation for their generous support," Juarez said Juarez. "This grant will greatly assist us in our mission to provide assistance and hope to individuals and families facing challenging circumstances in our community."

Through its various programs and services, the Salvation Army of Greenville provides food, shelter, clothing and other essential resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, poverty and other hardships. The $5,000 grant will be used to further enhance the Salvation Army's efforts in addressing the immediate needs of the community.

"We are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals in Greenville and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the F.L. Young Foundation for their generous support," Juarez added. "This grant will enable us to continue providing vital services and empowering those in need to overcome their challenges and build a brighter future.
