Salman Khan's 46th birthday
28 Dec - The famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan turns 46 and still is one of the leading influences in the Bollywood film industry, according to a report on Real Bollywood's website.
While earlier reports suggested that the actor was to celebrate his big day in Dubai, he later had a change of plans.
"Like every year, the celebrations will be with close family and friends only," his brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri said.
A source close to the actor also suggested that Salman changed his plans at the last hour due to his health problems, as the year has not that been great for the actor who underwent surgery in the US for trigeminal neuralgia (a nerve disorder).
His films "Bodyguard" and "Ready", however, both grossed over Rs 100 crore this year, making him the most successful actor of 2011. Rumours were also rife that the actor was supposed to celebrate the day with ex-flame turned good friend Katrina Kaif, but the latter is holidaying in London.
