Salim Gangadharan takes charge as RBI's regional director for Kerala, Lakshadweep
New Delhi: Salim Gangadharan has been appointed as regional director of Reserve Bank of India for Kerala and Lakshadweep, the Business Line reported.
Prior to this, Gangadharan was regional director for West Bengal and Sikkim.
Gangadharan, who joined RBI in 1981, served in various operational departments of the central bank over the years, particularly in supervision, financial markets and foreign exchange.
He was also part of several internal working groups in RBI and was deputed to Central Bank of Oman for five years.
