SAISD to hold pre-K enrollment support events

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — We’re almost one month into the San Angelo Independent School District’s open enrollment period for the 2024-2025 school year, and the district is looking to help pre-K families enroll the students of tomorrow.

According to the district, SAISD will be holding two pre-K enrollment support events at the SAISD Administration Building located at 1621 University Ave. The events are scheduled for two dates and times:

  • Tuesday, May 7, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • Thursday, May 9, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

During the events, SAISD representatives will be available on-site to answer questions and assist families with the process of enrolling their children — specifically those in the district’s pre-K and bilingual programs — for the upcoming school year. Enrollment can be completed from any web browser or smartphone, and SAISD will have devices available for use at the event.

SAISD encourages those planning to register their student at the events to bring the following documents:

  • Proof of residence (utility bill or lease agreement)

  • Social Security card

  • Birth certificate

  • Immunization record

  • Withdrawal paperwork from previous school
