Sacramento braces for more rain and wind. When will it end?
Keep your umbrella close this week. Rain is making its way through Sacramento, followed by wind and frost.
The Capitol region is stuck with wet conditions and cloudy skies at least through Thursday night, said Karl Swanberg, forecaster with the National Weather,
However, the agency said, the rain shouldn’t be heavy.
Light to moderate showers began Wednesday and will continue through Thursday, mainly between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and again before 10 p.m., according to the weather service.
By early Friday morning, Sacramento is forecast to receive between 0.01 to 0.1 inches of precipitation.
Those in the northern Sacramento Valley and surrounding areas should prepare for moments of heavy rain, lightning, gusty winds and hail.

The mountains could receive between half an inch and 1 inch of snow, Swanberg said.
Sunny skies and dry conditions are predicted to return Friday with temperature highs around 57 degrees and lows near the mid-30s.
Winds could whip between 9 and 14 mph, coupled with gusts as high as 21 mph.
The gloom should be gone by the weekend but frost will take its place, the weather service said.
