The Ryatuvalnyk [Rescue worker] Futsal Club has withdrawn from the Ukrainian championship, the Futsal Association of Ukraine reported on Instagram on March 28.

This decision comes as the team's players and staff, who are integral members of the Interregional Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, have been called to full combat alert amidst heightened military tensions in Ukraine's border areas.

The escalation of hostilities in the region has necessitated this move, prioritizing national security and the personnel's responsibilities over sports engagements.

Consequently, Ryatuvalnyk, hailing from Romny, will face two automatic 5-0 losses in their final championship matches against Sokil and SkyUp, as well as in the Ukrainian Cup's second leg against Urahan, adhering to the championship's regulations.
