Ryan Reynolds has confirmed that he is a big fan of Bluey.

The Australian kids' series is one of the most talked-about shows of the moment, and the Deadpool & Wolverine actor is among those who have sung its praise.

"Bluey's great," he told Australian show Sunrise. "I actually learned about Bluey from John [Krasinski]… I watch it. My kids don't even. It's me that watches it."

Reynolds then quipped: "My kids will only watch World War II documentaries."

Bluey, which follows the lives of the Blue Heeler dog and her family, recently aired its longest-ever episode 'The Sign', which drew in a huge 10 million viewers globally in its first week. Fans were then given an unexpected extra episode called 'Surprise'.

Ahead of the release of 'The Sign', show producer Sam Moor allayed fears that the show could be coming to an end.

"No it is not the end for Bluey. I'm sure we have many more surprises in store for you," Moor told Radio 4's Today programme. "We have more in store and we are thinking what would be next."

Indeed, since then BBC Studios has confirmed that 20 new mini-episodes are on the way that will focus on Bluey and her sister Bingo, as well as popular characters Unicorse and Nana and Bob Heeler.

They are due to be broadcast in Australia in June, before becoming available on Disney+ and Disney Jr the following month.
