Ryan Reynolds jokes 'two thankless' kids who don't sleep are to blame for bags under eyes

Cameras don't lie. Kids fight going to bed.

"Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds put those two sentiments together and said that's why he didn't look his best recently while hawking gin.

Reynolds, 42, joked while promoting his Aviation Gin alcohol line in a series of Instagram photos that his daughters, Inez, 2, and James, 4, are responsible for his tired eyes.

"Bags under my eyes by two thankless (expletive) who refused to go to bed the night before, despite the fact I read them Winnie the Pooh and nearly half of Stephen King’s The Shining," Reynolds captioned his post.

We think Reynolds still looks fabulous in a series of retro-looking photos featuring him in suits and a day's stubble promoting the line of gin.

Reynolds announced he bought the "best-tasting gin in the world" last year.

The Portland, Oregon, company wrote of Reynolds in the announcement, "Actor, producer, professional good-looking person."

In a statement, Reynolds said it was love at first sip: "Once I tried it, I knew I wanted to get involved with the company in a big way."
