Ryan Reynolds Has a New Gin Company—And According to His Out of Office, All He Needs Now Is a New Desk

Ryan Reynolds has a new role: alcohol impresario. The Deadpool star announced on Twitter Wednesday that he had purchased liquor company Aviation Gin, making him the official owner of the Portland-based brand. "In the long and in no way disastrous marriage of showbiz and alcohol, so happy to announce I’m the proud owner of a gin company… @AviationGin,” Reynolds wrote.

It seems the actor has already commenced his duties, starting with taking on an official company email. As of now, however, when you email Reynolds's new address, a tongue-to-cheek out-of-office message is sent back.

"Thank you for your email and interest in Aviation American Gin! I’m away from my desk at the moment but will respond the moment they give me a desk," it starts. But perhaps Reynolds shouldn't wait to be given a desk, and get one for himself—after all, his wife is Blake Lively, lover of style, when it comes to both fashion and decor. We have drummed up a few suggestions for the Renaissance man, ranging from the modern to the more conventional. Perhaps he can even purchase his second choice for his secretary:

"My responsibilities here at the company are vast. I’ll spend my days being photographed intermittently clinching my jaw muscles while pointing at things and nodding. I’ll drink Aviation Gin. I’ll sit in board meetings, imagining my very own Red Wedding. I don’t know whose idea it was to allow me into the gin business, but I can assure you, there are smarter, more reasonable people in charge," his out-of-office message continues. "Thank you again for your email... If the matter is urgent, please contact my secretary, Bruce, who’ll respond the moment I get a secretary named, Bruce."
